Nigeria Will Win

TariboFormer Nigeria defender Taribo West has boasted that the Super Eagles will beat their Sudanese counterparts on Saturday,  when both countries play each other for places at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The Super Eagles sit just above the Sudanese in Group A of the qualifying series, with one point, as against Sudan’s zero.

Both teams are also yet to get any wins, with Nigeria only able to get a 0-0 draw away at South Africa, after losing 3-2 at home to Sudan while the Sudanese lost both games to South Africa and Congo.
Taribo, who featured when Nigeria beat Sudan home and away in 2001 during the 2002 World Cup qualifiers, says the Super Eagles have got all it takes to beat the Sudanese once more.
“I strongly believe the Super Eagles will beat them again this time because of the quality that we possess; I think we are better than they are. I played against them in 2001 and know how their football is and they can be quite slow in their build up, but tricky,” he said.
The Super Eagles played against Sudan twice in 2001 and beat them 7-0 on aggregate on the way to qualifying for the 2002 World Cup in Korea and Japan.
The Super Eagles have a superior record of six wins, three draws and one loss in the last ten games played between the two countries.
